Matt Mathews Indio reviews
Duran Duran Still kicks ass!
In my opinion, the show was incredible. They performed so well, showcasing many excellent songs. I particularly enjoyed their rendition of the bond song this year. The band creatively incorporated snippets from various bond movies before transitioning smoothly into A VIEW TO A KILL. Simon's vocals were stunning, especially during the almost acapella section leading into the full song. The energy was palpable. A standout moment was their performance of hold back the rain, a rare inclusion in their setlist. Their new material is quite enjoyable, although I feel they should consider dropping white lines—it's truly a terrible song, haha. Perhaps they could have included the Reflex instead, which would have likely been better received by many. Overall, my admiration for the band remains unwavering. Keep up the fantastic work, you'll always hold a special place in my heart.
